HEX FINISH NUT
A standard six sided hex 'finish UNC' or metric nut, for use with bolts or threaded rod.
Stock Sizes: 1/4 - 1/2" UNC
HEAVY HEX NUT
Heavy hex nuts have a larger AF (across flat) or spanner size and are thicker than a finish nut.
Generally used in timber applications where a heavy duty nut to provide additional strength is required.

HEX JAM NUT
A hexagonal jam nut - these nuts are thinner than a standard finish nut, and are normally used in conjunction with another nut to lock into place on a bolt/thread.
When a jam nut 'locks', it results in a slight distortion of the thread on the nut, which stops it from undoing due to vibration/movement. For this reason, a jam nut should always be replaced, not re-used once removed.
ACORN NUT
A decorative acorn or dome nut - these nuts have a large hex with a smooth dome top.
Ideally suited for a decorative finish or where you need a safe smooth finish to a bolt.

SQUARE NUT
A solid brass four sided square nut, ideal for a unique finish on your project.
Please note these do not have a bevelled side - see our silicon bronze square nuts if you require a single bevel sided square nut.

MUSHROOM NUT
Our special brass mushroom nuts are a large hemispherical nut for use in decorative applications such as doors and drawer handles.
Brass rivets have a smaller head diameter with a lower profile head. These can be custom threaded to suit your requirements.
